Crow nursery - Wild ARC
The crow nursery is a separate building that houses baby and fledgling crows. Housed in a quiet place with isolated kennels to minimize exposure to other species and activity, these sensitive patients are hand fed and closely monitored by staff to prepare them for being moved to the next phase of their care in outdoor avian enclosures.
This specialized enclosure requires annual maintenance including deep cleans, repairs to individual cages inside, and enrichment materials. Annual sponsorship of this enclosure supports these maintenance and improvement costs plus covers water and electrical services to ensure the patients housed within receive the highest standard of care.
Supporters will have their name or that of an honouree displayed for one year as well as receive a certificate displaying their support. In addition, supporters will receive an invitation to the facility during our Open House event each spring.
