Raptor Flight Pen - Wild ARC
The raptor flight pen is a large enclosure built in 2006 to house our larger birds. It allows us to exercise and care for raptors such as eagles, owls and other large birds up to the point of release. Inside are perching structures, flight obstacles, and shrubbery. There are also inner sails to further divide the enclosure into quarters to allow us to increase capacity and isolate patients when needed. Annually, the enclosure requires cleaning, plus maintenance of perching and structural materials as well as pully-systems for the sails. We would also like to predator proof the building to allow us to use it for smaller, more vulnerable birds such as gulls. Annual sponsorship of one of these enclosures will support these maintenance and improvement costs plus cover water and electrical services, to ensure the patients housed within receive the highest standard of care.
Sponsorship supporters will have their name or that of an honouree displayed on the enclosure for one year and receive a certificate displaying their support.
Your sponsorship qualifies for a charitable tax receipt.
