Become a member of the BC SPCA

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the BC SPCA. Please complete the form below to submit your application.

Membership Information

Voting Type

  • For individuals who wish to make motions, vote for the election of Directors, or stand for election or appointment.
  • Must be 19+, a resident of B.C. and not an employee or immediate family member of an employee of the BC SPCA.
  • For individuals under the age of 19, living out of province, or employees or immediate family members of employees of the BC SPCA.

Membership Type

  • Become an Annual BC SPCA member.
  • Become an Lifetime BC SPCA member.

Membership Agreement

I agree to the following:

  • I certify that I have not been convicted in Canada or elsewhere of an offence involving cruelty to animals

  • I acknowledge that my membership in the BC SPCA is limited to a one-year term (Lifetime Membership excepted), ending December 31st, renewable upon payment of the requisite dues and that acceptance as a new Member is subject to approval by the Board of Directors.

  • By accepting the terms and conditions of membership, you acknowledge that you have signed an agreement to abide by the Constitution, Bylaws and Code of Ethics of the BC SPCA.

As a member of the BC SPCA you will receive e-newsletters about our work provincially, including: Anim@ls, Action for Animals and Support. You can opt out of these emails at any time by choosing the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the emails, login to your Online Community Member Page and Edit email subscriptions, email membership@spca.bc.ca, or call 604-681-7271 and our Membership and Governance team will be happy to assist you.
